Day 1; Transfer to fort portal
Breakfast drive through Mubende and make a stopover at Nakayima hill to see the tree with female breasts with milk comes out of it . proceed to Rwenzori Mountains and reach Fort portal. This journey will reward you with sceneries of lush homesteads, plantations and farms. Ndali lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2; Kibaale forest National Park
In the morning, have breakfast head for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale NP. it’s a home for our cousins the chimpanzee ,the search will reward you with other primates like the grey Mangabeys, pottos, colobus monkeys, bush babies baboons and many more. In the afternoon you will go for a walk to the Bigodi Swamp to view the unique flora and fauna having birds .precious swamp comprise of birds like Green Sunbird and Superb Sunbird, Mountain Wagtail, Velvet-mantled Drongo, Purple-headed Starling, , Cassin’s Honey bird among others. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mantana Tented Camp.
Day 3;Queen Elizabeth national park.
Have breakfast to transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP and reach in the afternoon for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel. The cruise will reward you with animals like hippos, buffaloes, elephants and plenty of birds on the shores. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Katara river lodge/Mweya hostels.
Day 4;Kyambura gorge
Have breakfast , head to Kyambura gorge for a walk in the gorge looking for chimpanzees our relative. He will be searched within the confines of a forested river gorge carved into the surroundings flat savannah not only chimps that will be seen but also other primates like the colobus monkeys, olive baboons, red and tailed monkeys. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Katara river lodge/Mweya hostels.
Day 5; Bwindi impenetratable forest National Park
pass through the Ishasha sector heading to Bwindi Impenetrable NP. Check out for tree climbing Lions and other game like the Uganda Kob, elephants, topi and many more. Reach in the afternoon to go for a walk in the neighbouring communities for entertainment. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 6; Gorilla tracking
Morning breakfast , briefed at the park headquarters before you embark on the park-gorilla tracking. This is a strenuous activity but the ecstasy obtained on encountering these humble giants erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find these apes. The time it takes to meet mans’ close relatives is unpredictable but it ranges between 2-8 hours depending on their movement. So always packed food stuffs are recommended. Not only gorillas that you will encounter but also other primates like the red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus, birds are in plenty like Yellow-eyed Black-Flycatcher, Ashy Flycatcher, White-bellied Crested-flycatcher, Pale-breasted Illadopsis, Mountain Illadopsis, African Hill-Babbler, Blue-throated Brown Sunbird, Blue-headed Sunbird, Northern Double-collared Sunbird,
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma Community Bandas
Day 7; Transfer to Kampala
Have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala. lunch stop in any towns of your wish. Dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel/ Serena Hotel /Hotel Africana.
