This 2 days Rwanda safari starts and finishes in Kigali. The safari rewards you with a chance to enjoy the most fascinating tourist adventure in Africa; Mountain Gorilla Trekking within the verdant Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda.
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Parc National des Volcans
On arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be received by one of our tour guides / driver who will transfer you to the northern part of the country, driving past the eye-catching terraced verdant hillsides which actually characterize majority of the landscape of Rwanda, gradually ascending to the bottom of the grand volcanoes bringing to sight five peaks. This will go for 2 to 3 hours from Kigali. When you arrive at Rwanda Gorilla Volcans Park, you will check into your accommodation. Dinner and overnight at Kinigi Guest House / Gorilla’s Nest / any similar.
Day 2: Trekking Mountain Gorillas – Return drive to Kigali
You will begin the day early with a quick breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for a thrilling experience while gorilla trekking. After breakfast, head to the Headquarters of Kinigi with packed lunch, water plus a light rain jacket for a briefing about the gorilla trekking. In this briefing you will be advised on how you should handle yourself on finding the gorilla, what to carry with you for the trekking and among these will be trekking-boots because the track takes you along the steep slippery grounds in the heart of the forests. You will be permitted to spend an hour in their presence, taking photos and observing there very impressive way of living.
At the finish of this long day, you will be driven back to the capital city Kigali to a place of your preferred or to the Airport to catch your flight.
