11 Days Best of Uganda safaris and Birding

With this tour, you will explore most of Uganda’s wild game. The tour will include a visit to Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Mburo, Jinja and Kampala City Tour.

Day 1-Arrival-Transfer to Hotel.
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by our professional staff who will warmly welcome you and transfer you transfer to Kampala the capital city of Uganda, depending on your flight schedule, a city tour may be done including a visit to religious cathedrals, mosque, visit the forex bureaus to change some money, with lunch break and later check in at your hotel.

Day 2; Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park.
After your break fast, drive to Kibale via mubende. The journey is approximately 5 hours check in at your hotel for your lunch and overnight stay.

Day 3; Chimp Tracking-Bigodi
After an early morning cup of coffee, go for chimpanzee tracking in kibale forest while viewing several other primates and bird species, in the evening you may visit Bigodi swamp for bird watching. Return to the lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 4; Kibale-Queen Elizabeth.
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth national park via fort portal while viewing a lot of game. Check in at your hotel for your lunch, in the evening, you can relax around as you warm for your dinner and over night stay at the lodge.

Day 5; Game drive, Boat Cruise.
After an early morning cup of coffee, proceed for a morning game drive along Kasenyi track where you will be able to see elephants, buffalos, lions Uganda cobs, waterbuck and more. Return to the lodge for your lunch. In the afternoon proceed for a unique boat launch cruise at kazinga channel. Return for dinner and over night stay at the lodge.

Day 6; Queen Elizabeth-Bwindi
Drive to Bwindi impenetrable park located in southwest Uganda, Check in at the hotel for your lunch, relax in the after noon, you can visit the local communities and later return for your dinner and over night stay at the lodge.

Day 7; Gorilla tracking
After an early cup of coffee and with packed lunch, continue to the park headquarters for briefing and later set off for the exciting gorilla tracking activity in the forest sanctuary. Return to the lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 8; Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast, drive to Kabale heading to Lake Bunyonyi. Afternoon, relax at the sandy beaches of lake bunyonyi, explore the lake, visit various islands and the local communities. Dinner and Overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Resort.

Day 9; Lake Bunyonyi-Lake Mburo.
Start for Mbarara, enjoying natural and other interesting attractions and with lunch stop en-route; another stop over at the equator for some experiment and photos, an extension to Lake Mburo, catch the evening boat cruise on the lake and later check in at dinner and over night.

Day 10-Lake Mburo- Kampala
Return to Kampala at leisure after the game drive, with a lunch stop in the heart of Kampala. After Lunch, proceed to Kampala and later you will visit Ndere Cultural center for some African cultural performances, have dinner and later return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 11 -Jinja Tour and the Sauce of the Nile, and Flight back home.
Start for Jinja, via mukono, Detour to Sezziwa falls, thought in local folklore to have been produced by an ancient woman, birding while there and continue to Mabira forest. Proceed to Jinja past the Owen falls dam, Uganda’s largest dam. Visit the sauce of the mighty River Nile, have a lunch break at King Fisher Lodge. Your trip ends with a tour to Itanda Falls on the other end of the Nile. Return to Kampala late evening and transfer to Entebbe for your flight back home.
