3 Days Uganda Wildlife safaris – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 1; Drive west with a stop over at the equator for photos, through volcanic formations of the western Rift Valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The descent reveals a stunning panoramic view of Lakes George and Edward amidst game filled plains. Check in at Mweya safari lodge or Simba camp for Dinner and over night.

Day 2; Game drive today, with the diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest river swamps, queen Elizabeth is a home of incredible abundance of wildlife, you will have the opportunity to see the “big five” Lion, Leopard, giang forest hog, elephants, cape buffalo, water buck, Uganda kob, Topi and Bush backs. In the evening proceed for a unique 2 –hour’s boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and into Lake Edward. The trip passes through the highest hippo concentration in Africa and offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The bird life is colorful and abundant. Return for Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 3; Early morning departure to Maramagambo forest for nature walk where you will visit the bat cave and the Blue Lake, later drive onwards to Kampala with a short stopover in Mbarara for lunch arriving late evening.
