3 Days/2 Nights-Murchison Falls National Park
MFNP offers an experience that is better lived than narrated. It is the largest National Park in Uganda at 3840 sq. km. Here is the awe inspiring Murchison Falls where the River Nile hurls itself in convulsions through a narrow crevice and then plunges 40 metres in one breathtaking leap. The park has a variety of vegetation ranging from riparian forests and swamp lands to broad savannah, and provides visitors the opportunity of seeing large concentrations of wildlife.
Day 1
After breakfast, begin the panoramic drive Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle. Have a lunch stop in Masindi and later proceed to the park headquarters and continue to the Top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected marvel at the Nile. Check in at Paraa Safari Lodge or Red Chili for dinner and over night.
Day 2
Enjoy the Exciting game drive via Nyamsiki plateau; you may see Elephant, lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hartebeests and many more. After lunch, proceed for a boat trip on the placid Victoria Nile up stream to the base of the falls. For a different unique experience, you will enjoy game viewing like Hippos, Crocodiles, waterbuck and a wide variety of birds as you glide down the river in a boat. Return to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3
Check out from the hotel and return to Kampala with a lunch stop in Masindi arriving late evening.
